The ST3 Interview Course

Knowledge Course - January 25th 2025 0930 - 1530

A one-day virtual knowledge course where we cover all the fundamentals of the interview process itself, as well as tips and tricks for maximising your scores on the day!

• Commitment to Specialty (formerly 'Portfolio')

  • We provide guidance on model answers to common questions in this station that will help highlight your achievements and make you stand out to your interviewers!

• Clinical

  • We will cover common clinical scenarios, and how to structure your answers to score as highly as possible and project confidence with a range of clinical situations through case discussions!

• Prioritisation

  • This is truly the station to show 'higher order thinking' and we will cover all the tips and tricks in list planning & task prioritisation that will help you show your interviewers you are ready to become an orthopaedic registrar!

• Communication

  • We cover the scoring system and go through some of the most frequently encountered scenarios in Comms and how to handle these through structured, patient-centric approaches!

Our knowledge course is taught by successful candidates with recent first-hand experience of the interviews, as well as knowledgeable OrthoPro faculty, and aims to cover everything you need to know to score top marks!
